- If this is a push notification, I should start at a locked phone screen, right? I've decided to copy my phone's screen, with the date and the padlock at the top. And of course, since this is a locked screen, it should feature
the user's my dog as a wallpaper.
- I figured every single notification should show the app logo and the time it arrived, so that's all over this Drill Down.
- For the first push notification, I decided to go with a playful onomatopoeia at the title and to keep this tone at the body copy. I made a point of using an emoji here, too. It felt right!
- The second push notification is also about very good news, so I went with an emoji again. I've opted for a more informal language at the title and went with further explanation at the body copy. Still, I wonder if "your loan" is an appropriate copy here: should these words appear at a locked screen? Isn't there a risk of embarrassing the user?
- Even though the tone for the third screen is neutral, I figured it should still be somewhat positive, yet stern. Getting to the end of a busy day should be rewarding, after all. Made sense that this notification should appear by 7PM, too. Also, I figure this is a good moment to call the user by their name.
- For the new terms of service screen, I think a more neutral and sober tone would be appropriate. I've thought long and hard about using exclamation points at this one, but decided to avoid those for a serious message.
- The first negative push notification should warn and inform the user about the situation, but that's not an emergency. They won't lose money at that moment. That's why I decided to use a neutral and informative tone, and finished the body copy with a CTA.
- For the last screen, I figured I should catch the user's attention, inform what's happening and offer help.
- I think the notifications lead to the right screens, but I believe that the overdraft information screen for the last case should include a CTA that directs the user towards help, tutorials, maybe even a 1:1 with an EasyB finance specialist.
